If you can find Gettysburg, you can find Fairfield and Willow Pond Farm! Festival parking is at the Fairfield Area School at 4840 Fairfield Rd. (Rte 116), Fairfield, PA 17320 (between Iron Springs Rd. and Beechwood Dr.).

From Gettysburg: From the square, proceed south 1 block on Baltimore Street. At the first traffic light, turn right on to Middle Street. Follow Rte. 116 West (Middle Street) out of town for 8 miles. On your right you will see Mountain View Golf Course. Proceed through town. You will find the school campus on your left.

From Emmitsburg, Md.: Follow Rte. 140 West out of town. This road changes to PA Rte. 16 when you cross the state border. Follow Rte. 16 for 1.6 miles until you come to Rte. 116 (next to a PNC Bank). Turn right on Rte. 116 and follow it past Ski Liberty into Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your right.

From Baltimore, Md./Westminster, Md.: Take I-795 off the I-695 Beltway toward Owings Mills. Follow I-795 until it ends near Reisterstown and turn onto Rte. 140 West. Follow Rte. 140 through Westminster and Taneytown to Emmitsburg. Go straight through traffic light and follow Rte. 140 West out of town. This road changes to PA Rte. 16 when you cross the state border. Follow Rte.16 for 1.6 miles until you come to Rte. 116 (next to a PNC Bank). Turn right on Rte. 116 and follow it past Ski Liberty and into Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your right.

From Washington, D.C., and Frederick, Md.: Follow I-270 North to Frederick. Continue straight as I-270 changes into Rte. 15 North. Continue on Rte. 15 to the Emmitsburg/Taneytown Rte. 140 exit. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Rte. 140 West to Emmitsburg. Go straight through traffic light and follow Rte. 140 West out of town. This road changes to PA Rte. 16 when you cross the state border. Follow Rte. 16 for 1.6 miles until you come to Rte. 116 (next to a PNC Bank). Turn right on Rte. 116 and follow it past Ski Liberty and into Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your right.

From Hagerstown, Md., and West Virginia: Follow I-81 North into Pennsylvania. Take Exit 5 (Greencastle/Waynesboro) off I-81 and turn right onto Rte. 16 East. Follow Rte. 16 East 20 miles past Waynesboro to Rte. 116 (next to PNC Bank) turn left on 116 and follow it past Ski Liberty and into Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your right.

From Greencastle/Waynesboro: Follow Rte. 16 East 12 miles past Waynesboro to Rte. 116 (next to PNC Bank). Turn left on Rte. 116 and follow it past Ski Liberty into Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your right.

From Chambersburg: Follow Rte. 30 East for approximately 15 miles from Rte. 81. Turn right at Adams County National Bank (on right) on to High St. Follow High St. for 0.6 miles: turn left on Old Rte. 30, then turn right after 0.1 mile onto Orrtanna Rd. Follow Orrtanna Rd. to a turkey-foot stop sign. Turn left and continue on Orrtanna Rd./Carroll's Tract Rd. approximately 6 miles to Fairfield. At the stop sign (Getty gas station on your left) turn right and proceed through town. You will find the school campus on your left.

From York/Lancaster: Follow Rte. 30 West through Abbottstown, New Oxford, and Gettysburg. When you come to the traffic circle in Gettysburg, go 3/4 of the way around and exit onto Baltimore St. At the first traffic light, turn right on to Middle St. Follow Rte. 116 West (Middle St.) out of town for 8 miles. On your right you will see Mountain View Golf Course. Proceed through the town of Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your left.

From Harrisburg: Follow Rte. 15 South to the York Street (Rte. 30) exit for Gettysburg. Turn right at end of exit ramp towards Gettysburg. Follow Rte. 30 West to downtown Gettysburg. When you come to the traffic circle in Gettysburg, go 3/4 of the way around exit to onto Baltimore St. At the first traffic light, turn right on to Middle St. Follow Rte. 116 West (Middle St.) out of town for 8 miles. On your right you will see Mountain View Golf Course. Proceed through the town of Fairfield. You will find the school campus on your left.

Planning Your Visit in 2012

Festival Hours: Friday, June 15, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, June 16, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, June 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission is $8.00; children 12 and under attend for free. Advance Sale Discount Tickets will be available online for $25.00. (If you've purchased Advance Sale Discount Tickets online, please print out your confirmation and bring it.)

Shuttle service and parking are free. Parking is located at the nearby Fairfield Area School. Directions.

Tours and festival activities occur outdoors. Dress casually to ensure your comfort. Most of the festival’s activities are held within a manageable area for people with limited mobility. No pets, please—service animals only.

Advance ticket sales and workshop registration for 2012 will open by March 2012. Advance Sale Discount Tickets will be $25; regular admission is $8.

Our advance sales ticket is good for: festival admission; a picnic lunch of a sandwich or salad, chips, lavender cookies or brownies and a drink; a $5.00 bunch of cut-your-own lavender; and a 5% discount on all purchases from the Willow Pond Farm shop, greenhouse, and lavender tent. A Note about Accessibility

Willow Pond Farm is a working farm with unpaved pathways. It is accessible, but there is uneven terrain on the grounds and in the gardens. Most of the festival's activities are held within a manageable area for people with limited mobility. There is shade and chairs for sitting, as well as an accessible portable bathroom.

Service animals only during the Festival — no pets allowed.
